Naturalisation Application, Scotland

Get in touch

At Jones Whyte, our solicitors can assist you with your naturalisation application. It is the path to British citizenship if you are over 18 and have Indefinite Leave to Remain.

To decide if you are eligible to begin the naturalisation process, the Home Office will look at:

  • Your immigration status.
  • Length of residency in the UK.
  • Knowledge of the English language.
  • Your life in the UK.
  • Your character.
  • Your future intentions

If you are married to a British citizen the requirements for a naturalisation application are different.
