Ruth McIntosh

Ruth is an Associate Solicitor within our Personal Injury team. She specialises in accidents at work and in public places. She has a record of winning maximum compensation for clients while focusing on making the process compassionate, simple and straightforward. 

Ruth deals with claims including road traffic accidents, accidents at work and medical negligence claims. She instructs counsel at the Court of Session and appears at the Personal Injury and Sheriff courts.   

Ruth previously worked in-house for one of the UK’s leading insurers. 

She also holds the role of Professional Support Lawyer, which means she works across the firm to enhance the effectiveness of the services we provide. She has a Law Society accreditation in Essential Business and Leadership. 

 Ruth is a key part of the successful team which led to Jones Whyte winning both the Scottish Legal Awards and Law Awards of Scotland ‘Firm of the Year’ in 2021 and to its continuing success as one of Scotland’s fastest growing law firms.
