Hayley Cochrane

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Hayley graduated in 2019 with a degree in Criminal Justice, she has volunteered with both Glasgow Sherriff and High Courts and loved it. Hayley’s time volunteering was focused on helping the witnesses during their time in court, and the longer she was with the service the more responsibility she managed to gain. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Hayley worked as a Supervisor within one of the Labs in Glasgow and enjoyed her time there. After the Pandemic, Hayley decided to travel and headed over to Canada for a few months. On her return, she started her employment with Jones Whyte. Hayley started in the Trust Management department where she learned a range of new skills. After 6 months within the Trust Management department, she moved to the Litigation team and has found herself enjoying her role.

“For me the best part about this role is being able to help people and being able to put them at ease with the situations they are currently going through. I currently talk to a range of different people on a day to day basis, which is great. I carry out a range of tasks including Taking Witness Statements, Drafting Court Documents, Reviewing Medical Documents and more.”
