Allana Henderson

Allana is a second year trainee solicitor in our Family Law department. She graduated in 2021 with her LLB(Hons) from the University of Strathclyde and continued her studies at the University to complete her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2022.  Allana joined the team at Jones Whyte in June 2022 to commence her legal traineeship. For the first 15 months of her traineeship, Allana worked on personal injury and medical negligence cases within our Litigation department. She now enjoys working on family law cases and deals primarily with separation and contact.  The most rewarding part of her role is having the opportunity to support and help her clients. Allana also enjoys the constant intellectual challenges that the traineeship presents and the opportunities for new learning.

In addition, and alongside her traineeship, Allana volunteers with Children’s Hearings Scotland as a panel member. This role requires her to listen and make legal decisions for infants, children and young people in local communities across Scotland. This allows Allana to give something back to her local community which she finds extremely important.
