Arrival of 12 new trainees at Jones Whyte brings firm pool to 28

Jones Whyte is pleased to welcome 12 new first-year trainee solicitors to its 2024 intake. Notably, many of these trainees begin their traineeships having completed part-time or full-time placements; evidence of the firm’s strategy to develop a pipeline of legal talent.
The new recruits bring the trainee pool at Jones Whyte to 28, as they join the existing 16 second-year trainees who will complete their traineeships within the next 12 months.

Jones Whyte trainees are provided with a comprehensive training programme, with access to seats and experiences across a range of legal disciplines. The firm aims to strike the right balance between providing flexible access to seats and working with trainees to help them specialise and accelerate their careers in their preferred practice area.
The new cohort of trainees successfully completed their first week with the firm through an extensive induction program, marking the beginning of their professional career.
