“One of the things I am looking forward to the most about working here at Jones Whyte is the mentorship and guidance”
At Jones Whyte, our commitment to supporting our staff extends throughout every step of their career.
As we mentioned in our previous blog, we have recently had talented new trainees come into our team, who will receive mentorship and guidance, as well as involvement in real, practical legal casework to allow them to gain as much hands on experience as possible.
Take a look below at our latest blog by Trainee Solicitor Anmol Siddiq, who reflects on her inaugural month at Jones Whyte.
“The first week at Jones Whyte was an introduction to the firm’s culture and values. During this week, I was introduced to various aspects of my role. I assisted with legal research, attended client meetings, and shadowed senior solicitors as they navigated complex cases.
Now that I have been here for a month, my primary focus is to further my knowledge of the firm’s practice areas and the complexities of each case I am involved in. I’m also aiming to build stronger relationships with my colleagues and take on more responsibility as I grow in my role.
One memorable moment that stands out for me in the first month was attending the Court of Session for a Judicial Review case. It gave me the chance to witness experienced lawyers deliver compelling arguments in court, and it left a lasting impression on me.
One of the things I am looking forward most about working here at Jones Whyte is the mentorship and guidance that I will receive from experienced solicitors. The wealth of knowledge and expertise at Jones Whyte is invaluable, and I’m excited about the opportunities for learning and professional growth.”
