Trio of Promotions at Jones Whyte

As part of our continued growth, Jones Whyte is delighted to announce the promotion of 3 key staff members.

Deborah Carmichael has been promoted to the positon of Partner, Nick Hay Associate and Nicola Waters to Senior Solicitor.

Deborah joined Jones Whyte at the start of 2018 and has over 12 years’ experience as a litigator dealing with contentious matters on behalf of both individuals and businesses. Granted rights as a Solicitor Advocate last year, Deborah oversees the Commercial Litigation/Dispute Resolution team, who under her guidance have gone from strength to strength, continuing to grow and establish their reputation in the industry.

Nicola joined the firm in 2015 as a trainee solicitor, specialising in personal injury law. Nicola’s diverse workload includes cases of road traffic accidents, accidents at work, public and occupier liability cases, cases involving historical child abuse and medical negligence cases. Nicola also handles civil claims on behalf of family members arising out of fatal accidents.

One of our longest serving employees, Nick started his Traineeship with Jones Whyte in 2014, shortly after the firm’s inception. Since qualifying in 2016, he has developed a wealth of knowledge and expertise in dealing with all types of residential conveyancing and is today an integral part of our Property & Conveyancing team.
