Ross Jones

Ross is a Managing Partner and founder of Jones Whyte. He created the firm more than ten years ago, with the ethos of putting clients and people at the heart of what it does. 

Since its inception in 2013, Jones Whyte has grown every year and has more than quadrupled in size in the past five years. It won both the Scottish Legal Awards and Law Awards of Scotland ‘Firm of the Year’ in 2021.  

Ross has a background in Commercial Property and Construction Law. His expertise is in dealing with high-value transactions and in industrial, office and retail leasing transactions. He regularly advises developers, contractors, and corporate funders on a range of development and company issues. 

Ross also runs our successful new build team which deals solely with customers from various national housebuilders on various housing developments throughout the UK.

As well as being a qualified solicitor in Scotland, Ross has also passed the highly-prestigious New York Bar exam.  

Along with the rest of the management team, Ross is now focused on continuing the growth of Jones Whyte, to allow the many new and returning clients to access even more services throughout their lives.
