Ross is one of the leading figures in the field of Estate Planning and Trust Management in Scotland. He has extensive experience helping clients plan for later life through the use of trusts, wills, power of attorney agreements and inheritance tax planning. 

He is highly experienced in trust law and in helping clients to protect their assets both for themselves and for future generations. He also advises on the lifetime management of trusts and helps clients to make adaptations as circumstances change. 

Prior to joining Jones Whyte, Ross was head of Conveyancing at his previous firm. He has an extensive knowledge of property law and how it can best be used to protect and aid his clients. 

Ross is also dual qualified as an English and Welsh solicitor, allowing him to work for clients across Scotland, England and Wales. 

He is highly regarded in his field and has helped the Scottish Parliament with its development of new Trust legislation, appearing before the Law Reform committee as a key expert in the use and modernisation of the law in Scotland.
