Nicola is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Trauma-Informed Lawyer.

Nicola is an Associate Solicitor in our Personal Injury litigation department.  Nicola’s diverse practice area covers road traffic accidents, accidents at work, accidents in public and private places, and clinical negligence.

Nicola has particular expertise in handling civil claims on behalf of family members arising out of fatal accidents. Specialising in handling cases where serious and catastrophic injuries (such as brain injuries and amputations) have been sustained, Nicola is renowned for her ability to handle such cases with sensitivity and care. Nicola regularly instructs Counsel in the Court of Session and deals with litigated claims in the All Scotland Personal Injury Court and Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland.

Nicola consistently receives positive feedback from her clients for her friendly, approachable and proactive nature in dealing with complex and life-changing loss cases. Nicola genuinely exceeds her client’s expectations in her goal of securing the compensation they deserve.

Nicola’s career highlights to date include acting for numerous families in civil claims for damages following the death of a family member. Nicola finds assisting families through this very difficult and emotional time to be the most rewarding part of her role.
