AREAS OF EXPERTISE
1. Drafting court documents
2. Taking client precognitions
Morna obtained her LLB in Scots Law from Glasgow Caledonian University in the summer of 2022. She started working at the firm in September 2022 and spent 7 months in the Trust Management department before moving to Personal Injury Litigation in May 2023.
In the Trust Management department, Morna was responsible for managing her own caseload. Her main roles included liaising with clients, drafting legal documents and being responsible for ensuring her cases were progressing as quickly as possible. She enjoyed working within this department and being able to support clients who had experienced difficulties with their Trusts in the past. Morna found it rewarding providing a much more positive experience for clients here at Jones Whyte.
Morna’s new role within Personal Injury Litigation is quite different from the previous work she undertook. She currently is working alongside a number of different solicitors assisting them with their cases. So far she has completed work in relation to road traffic accidents, accidents in public, noise induced hearing loss claims and historic abuse. Morna really enjoys her new role and learning new things each day.
“One of the most rewarding parts of this role is helping clients in potentially distressing situations and being able to offer our services in order to assist them.”
