Lynne Hopkins

Lynne joined Jones Whyte as a Senior Associate for the Bereavement Team in August 2026. She holds an LLB and Diploma in Professional Practice from the University of Dundee, and is a member of STEP, a global professional body comprising lawyers, accountants, trustees and other practitioners that help families to plan for their futures.

Lynne’s role revolves around dealing with Executries and supporting the wider work of the Bereavement Team. She has developed her expertise over 20 years working with a large Scottish firm and other small high street firms. Alongside Executries, she also has experience assisting clients with Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and general private client matters. Lynne is known for having a personable, pragmatic approach to her work, with a genuine appreciation of the challenges clients face.
