Gillian Cogan

Gillian is the Conveyancing Operations Manager at Jones Whyte, overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s Conveyancing department. With a strong focus on process improvement, client experience and operational excellence, she ensures that clients receive the gold-standard service the firm is known for.

Bringing over 20 years of experience in the legal sector, Gillian previously worked as a Client Relationship Manager for a legal services firm managing the UK’s largest banking relationships. She is a Data Protection Officer and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Risk and Governance Manager.

In addition to her operational role, Gillian plays a key part in risk management and regulatory compliance within the firm.

As a pivotal figure in Jones Whyte’s success, Gillian was part of the team that led to the firm winning both the Scottish Legal Awards and the Law Awards of Scotland ‘Firm of the Year’ in 2021. She continues to contribute to its growth as one of Scotland’s leading law firms.
