On a daily basis, Bailey will call all new clients to assist and take a detailed statement as to the circumstances of their accident and any heads of claim they are seeking to claim.  Thereafter, Bailey sets up their file and allocates them to a handler to deal with the matter.  Bailey is responsible for ensuring Jones Whyte have the correct third-party details to allow the claim to be intimated to the third-party insurers.

Bailey will draft the Pre-Action Protocol form and submit it to the third-party insurers to start the claim process in line with the Compulsory Pre-Action Protocol. Throughout the claims process, she will ensure the source of business/referrer is kept up to date with progress or any issues that arise with the claim.
